Hey, Caleb! This is Sydney. I read your first letter and I was so thrilled that it has been a good experience so far. I hope that the MTC treats you well. The way you explained it made it sound like a blast; and rarely do you find that paired constantly with the spirit.
As far as things here, I guess we are all just trying to fill the void that you left. The Christmas season is upon us and I'm trying to soak it up because of all the happiness and joy it brings.
I think that the dogs miss you. Baxter just recently learned how to open the garage door into the mud room. He'll put his nose on the lever until it opens. I'm sure mom would be happy to tell you of the many times that she finds that the dogs come in and look for someone to play with. One time when I was walking past the mud room I about had a heart attack because I assumed it was someone trying to get into our house.
I finished a countdown that I put on the backside of the door to my room. I'm pretty dang proud of it. Believe it or not, that is two years worth of stickers.
Also, during church today, Sariah found your name on the back of the program and decided decorate it...
I think it pretty well describes how much we love you and miss you!! Hope you are having fun!
