If you want to use another idea, here's a good one from John Nielsen... Get the stake to put on a Family, Faith, and Fun workshop.  Get lots of help from successful families and advertise it in the paper.  Pass out fliers inviting people in your area to attend.  Get the missionaries to canvas their areas.  Then pray like crazy that a few people see it and are curious.
